Christopher Wyckoff (Chris) brings over 30 years’ experience in Program Management. He is a Program Manager for the Financial Management Business Transformation Service (FMBTS) Program at the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), currently focusing on implementing a new financial management system for the Veterans Health Administration (VHA). Chris spent the first 25 years of government service as an Air Force Officer running human resource (HR) operations across the world, leading teams of up to 2,000 Airmen. His Air Force career culminated as the lead business Director for all HR operations globally. Following his retirement from active duty, Chris was brought back as the transformational business Director to replace the Air Force’s 30+ year old HR systems. Carrying his experience on the business and the project management sides of a major transformation, in 2019, he joined the Department of Veteran Affairs, as the Director for VHA Implementation. As FMBTS’ Program Manager for VHA’s implementation, he partners with a tremendous team of federal civilians and contractor professionals from across the department to field VA’s Integrated Financial and Acquisition Management System. He holds various Graduate Degrees from Chapman University, the Naval Postgraduate School, and the Air Force’s Air War College. He received his B.S. in Political Science from the United States Air Force Academy and holds certifications in Industry Project Management, Prosci Change Management Practitioner, SAFe 5 Agilist, and Data Analytics & Continuous Process Improvement for Senior Leaders.
